Even more functional and proactive organization and maximum enhancement of the SERVIFORM ® brand
Important anniversaries often stimulate significant impulses. It might be because Serviform, a historic group based in Caravaggio (Italy) and an absolute point of reference for die-cutting worldwide, is now on the road to its first 80 years (to be celebrated in 2026). It is certain, however, that the all-proudly Italian company is driven to change by its very nature, which has always been devoted to innovation.
When Pino Foppa delivered his first die in 1946, he planted the strong and decisive seed from which the die-cutting factory blossomed in 1960. Foppa Fustelle is now is a leading company in Italy and the only one with two BOBST certifications. Thanks to his son Franco Foppa Pedretti, this process was followed by the founding of SERVIFORM (1982) specializing in services and materials for die-cutters, paper processing industries and box manufacturing plants, and PRO FORM (2021) devoted to engineering development and CNC machine production. Growth then continued in 2022 by completely incorporating FUSTEL SERVICE, which represents Italian excellence in the sale of machines, blades and creasing rules for die-cutters and diemakers.
Today the group employs approximately 100 people, capable of achieving a turnover of more than 25 million euros, thanks to a global presence and solutions, technologies and materials that embrace the entire die-cutting production process, thus integrating a synergy of various skills offered by the group itself.
New market demands as well as the need for better placement of the resources of the group require an even more versatile and proactive organization, hence the need for renewal once again.
As of 1st January 2024, therefore, Serviform s.r.l. has merged its operations into PRO FORM s.r.l. through the transfer of a business unit. The entire product range from consumable materials to machinery and software will be supplied by PRO FORM s.r.l. under the SERVIFORM® brand, which is now an international and Italian point of reference in terms of quality, reliability, performance and innovation.
This development is part of the broader SERVIFORM® Group’s Strategic Plan, which aims to further consolidate its growth path as a partner of excellence whose mission is to make the production and use of die-cutting plants easier, more precise and more profitable. This is done in everyday practice by the professional and proven team of SERVIFORM® experts, who now more than ever will continue to make their skills and expertise available to customers.
The first significant innovations after the change in corporate structure will not be long in coming! In December 2023, SERVIFORM® signed an exclusive marketing and distribution agreement with CITO SYSTEM GmbH, a member company of the BOBST S.A. Group, to sell BoxLine products to paper processing companies and box manufacturing plants on the Italian market.
The German company CITO is known for supplying a complete range of die-cutting products, with expertise in processing paper, paperboard and corrugated cardboard. It has recently joined the Bobst Group, the world’s leading supplier of machinery and services for the processing, printing and converting of materials for industries producing labels, flexible packaging, folding cartons and corrugated cardboard.
2024 is the year of DRUPA and SERVIFORM® will not fail to present its latest innovations in the field of die-cutting machines. The R&D department has been working hard for months to finalize a unique cutting-edge project, which can already boast the recognition of several international patents. Not only is the surprise guaranteed, but it represents once again the desire to renew itself and, above all, to offer its customers those cutting-edge solutions that have made the SERVIFORM® Group itself a beacon in its sector.
