This year’s ERA Annual Conference and the Packaging & Decorative Conference will take place in Baveno, Italy on 21-23 September at Grand Hotel Dino. The event will be in conjunction with the Management Meeting & General Assembly in the afternoon of 21 September, followed by an informal Get-Together. The conference will be held on 22 September all day. On 23 September participants can visit the plant of Bobst Italia in San Giorgio Monferrato.
The topic faced by the Conference will be “Gravure – the Sustainable Process”. Presentations will be held by experts of the sector that will speak about these issues: the ecological impact and sustainability of gravure process; sustainability of water-based inks; reducing of VOC emissions by solvent recovery; alternative cylinder solutions for gravure printing; cLynxcylinder – the digital transformation for surface inspection of gravure cylinders; future use of chromium trioxide; mono-foils instead of composites; gravure printing in India, Africa and South Africa; geopolitical consequences and the impact on Europe’s cohesion of Russia’s war against Ukraine; presentation of Digital Printing Association/DIPA Academy.
