Daetwyler SwissTec has developed the MDC GOLDSTAR specifically to work for a wide range of label printing applications.
The MDC GOLDSTAR doctor blade has been designed for long runs with the highest wiping ability and quality. This doctor blade combines a very solid base coat with a low coefficient of friction. The corrosion-resistant coating offers a lubricating affect, resulting in a significantly longer service life. Additionally, this special coating reduces friction and wear in the contact zone area between the doctor blade and anilox roll. Especially when abrasive inks are used, frequent doctor blade changes can thus be avoided. Reduced machine downtimes result in significant cost savings.
