During the last edition of the ICE Europe fair, Bimec showed the duplex turret slitter rewinder TCA 64.2C+. The fair ended with a great success for the Italian company, which concluded the sale of the exhibited machine.
The buyer is Saima Packaging, a Pakistani company headed by the Tinwala family since 1972. Saima Packaging is one of the leading producers of high quality rigid and flexible packaging in Pakistan, especially in the tobacco, Food & Beverages and pharmaceuticals sectors. This is the second slitter rewinder that Saima buys from Bimec.
Equipped with 3 asynchronous motors a.c. and digital inverters, the TCA 64.2C + manufactured for Saima is one of Bimec’s best seller model: it has a semi-integrated unwind, a splice table and easy access to the slitting unit. It also features a touchscreen operator panel for data setup, recipe storage and diagnostics. TCA 64.2C+ belongs to the slitter rewinders TCA series, made by Bimec in five different versions to better meet customer needs.
