Magnesium, brass and rubber stamping tools, cylinders, flexographic plates for painting and flexo printing forms: Albertin is one of the few Italian manufacturers to produce everything in its own factory, nearby Milan. Here 35 operators, highly specialized and with a wide experience, cover every aspect of the production: from the management of graphic files to stamping tools’ production, to quality control.
A strong competence reached in more than 45 years of activity and continuous improvement and investments in last generation technologies make possible such an huge portfolio, that today expands to a new family product, the one of copper stamping tools, which will be presented to Packaging Première exhibition (Milan, 28th – 30th May 2019).
“We are always searching for new solutions: many years ago we announced the possibility to engrave stamping tools with a fibre optic source. We were the first ones and we’re still the only ones in Italy to give this opportunity”, says Ferruccio Albertin, CEO of Albertin. “We were the first to adopt a high resolution CTP flexo plate exposure unit for polyester and aluminium plates’ support with maximum size of 1310×2032 mm. And now we’re reaching a new milestone: the production of copper stamping tools in our factory. The attention to customer’s needs challenged us to find new expression’s possibilities, and we think that copper could be an appreciated solution”.
The company has developed the production phase ending the last tests and it’s already possible to ask for a quote to realize these kind of stamping tools, on which the “Albertin – MADE IN ITALY” seal will be stamped. “We’re very proud to use this wording”, concludes Albertin, “because we’re the only ones in Italy to produce copper stamping tools directly in our factory, as happens for all our products”.
